In Matthew 10:8, Jesus instructs his disciples: “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons.” As present-day disciples of Christ, we are also being instructed by Jesus to do these very things. In Matthew 11:27, Jesus tells his disciples: “No one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”

Healing comes from God, and it always occurs at His own discretion. The same is true about prophecy. God is at liberty to choose to whom He will reveal Himself. In other words, healing and hearing from God are divine acts that none of us have control over.

Many of us are given the spiritual gift of healing, while some are given other spiritual gifts such as discernment, speaking in tongues, and prophecy. In the Body of Christ, there are also those who have received the gift of prophetic healing and deliverance

Prophetic Healing and Deliverance is a ministry wherein both the gifts of prophecy and healing are equally operative and evident in the life of the one whom God has anointed. This is not because God shows favoritism. Instead, God has designed His church in such a way that every member of the body of Christ has varied roles and functions.

In the ministry of prophetic healing and deliverance, one is able to discern God’s voice, and at the same time pray for God’s miraculous healing. God grants this individual the ears to hear His voice, as well as the healing hands to deliver His people from every illness, disease, infirmity, and demonic possession that is present on earth.
