In 2 Kings 15-18, the Bible explains that Prophet Elisha had become sick and was told he would die. The king of Israel came down to him and wept over his face and said, “Oh my father, my father, the chariots of Israel and their horsemen.” Prophet Elisha said to him, “Take a bow and some arrows.” He took a bow and some arrows. Elisha said, “Open the east window,” and he opened it. “Shoot!” Elisha said and he shot. Elisha declared, “The LORD’s arrow of victory, the arrow of victory over Aram!” He continued: “You will completely destroy the Arameans at Aphek.”
The same way Prophet Elisha instructed the king to shoot the arrow that brought breakthrough, deliverance, and victory to the people of Syria, you are now receiving the arrow.
